Arbin’s Laboratory Battery Testing (LBT) series offers industry-leading hardware, high-precision measurements, and high-frequency data sampling for cell battery testing. True bipolar circuitry ensures cross-zero linearity with no switching time between charge and discharge. Each channel on an LBT20 system provides four current ranges with industry-leading 24-bit resolution and powerful embedded controllers for ultra-fast data logging. With these capabilities and more, Arbin’s LBT20 Series is suitable for applications including battery life cycle testing, symmetric-cell testing, multi-electrode experiments, and more.

Arbin’s LBT Series commercializes technology developed during a successful 3-year ARPA-E project focused on ultra-high precision testing systems. Arbin Instruments partnered with industry leaders Ford Motors and Sandia National Laboratories to develop a true, high-precision testing system for currents up to 200A. This project, which won an R&D 100 Award, provided technology and an understanding of measurement precision that has revolutionized Arbin’s products, including the LBT Series.
